We're looking for a design pioneer

We’re hiring a self-led, senior-level designer who pairs sharp visual instinct with strong creative judgment.

Whether it’s crafting a brand’s visual identity, shaping immersive campaigns, or composing images that speak, you bring concepts to life with striking clarity.

01

Executional Strength

You consistently deliver work that’s 90–95% polished on the first round. Layouts are structured and clear while always being free from basic spacing or styling issues. You can spot and easily resolve the details before anyone else needs to.

02

Strategic Thinking

You ask smart questions at the outset, make intentional design decisions, and come to reviews with a clear rationale. You use the Creative Director’s initial direction as a guidepost, seeking their input primarily to validate decisions, not for step-by-step instruction.

03

Autonomy & Collaboration

You manage your own time, use tools and documentation to move forward on your own, and contribute ideas that elevate the work. You communicate proactively and keep projects on track without constant check-ins.

A versatile problem solver who blends technical skill with creative vision. You have a strong foundation in layout and composition, but what sets you apart is your ability to build compelling visuals that connect—whether through striking photo composition, 3D imagery, or dynamic brand storytelling. From crafting a sleek website layout to designing immersive campaign visuals, you bring an inventive approach, an eye for balance, and the drive to make every piece count.

What kind of person are we looking for?

You solve problems, make clear decisions, and take ownership while building trust through concise, constructive communication.

  • Visual storytelling & photo composition – expert in crafting compelling narratives through imagery
  • Typography & layout – strong design fundamentals across print and digital
  • Marketing & campaign visuals – crafting imagery for advertising, social, and presentations
  • Responsive web & brand design – a mix of digital and print experience is ideal
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge – understanding how designs translate to code and collaborating effectively with developers
  • Data visualization – translating complex, technical data into clear, engaging visuals for print, presentations, and digital formats
  • 3D imaging & rendering – experience with tools like Cinema4D, Blender or Spline (a plus)

What programs should you be proficient in?

Bonus: Experience with 3D tools like Cinema4D, Blender or Spline / Experience designing and building emails in a template builder platform similar to Stripo or MailChimp/ Experience with animation or motion graphics

Do I have to be in Wake Forest, NC?

No, we're a distributed team, some based here in NC and others primarily across the eastern US. We're open to remote candidates if they're the right fit for the role and schedule can mostly align with EST working hours.

This role was created to meet high-impact needs, not to serve as a training ground. We’re a small, focused team that values autonomy, clear thinking, and solid design execution. If you’re the kind of designer who holds yourself to a high standard, enjoys solving problems with craft and context, and thrives in an environment where quality matters, you’ll fit right in.
